AKSA Power Generation USA in Conroe, Texas is currently looking for an Electromechanical Designer on a contract basis. Here are some of the responsibilities for this amazing opportunity:

Job Summary
The main aim of the job will be responsible for drafting, designing, and reviewing electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Responsibilities
  1. Prepare detail drawings / layouts and sketches of parts and equipment.
  2. Make electrical, mechanical and structural calculations associated with drawing preparation.
  3. Create symbols in AutoCAD Electrical as required for schematics.
  4. Create detailed mechanical drawings for the external structure, skids, and enclosures.
  5. Create detailed electrical schematics and harness drawings.
  6. Revise drawings as required for design changes and as-built customer documentation.
  7. Assist with component selection and bills of material.
  8. Assist with ongoing efforts to standardize and unify design document standards.
  9. Support and collaborate with other departments within the organization.
  10. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Education Background
2 years Associate Degree-Mechanical or Electrical Associate Degree

Work Experience
2 years of working experience in an electro-mechanical designer role or similar.
  1. Proficient with AutoCAD
  2. Proficiency with SolidWorks, CSWP or CSWA preferred
Knowledge
  1. 3.1.1   Familiar with high and low voltage power supply system, electrical automation control, electrical components selection, etc., know diesel generator set professional knowledge, industry standards, the performance characteristics of diesel generating set.
  2. 3.1.2   Knowledge of design related modules in material management system and familiar with generator function and application of key components.
